Everything you should know about JavaScript
I found some videos from Douglas Crockford a Yahoo! JavaScript Architect. He provides a comprehensive introduction to the JavaScript Programming Language in a four-part video. I’m dealing with JavaScript since 2007 and first and foremost with JavaScript Frameworks like jQuery and prototype. This lecture has given me some more comprehension of this language. After watching this videos I come to think about using plain JavaScript to understand better what’s behind the scenes.

Eventlistener3: Saubere Mouseover Effekte im Internet Explorer und Firefox
Anstelle vom mouseover/mouseout - Event verwendet man im Explorer bevorzugt mouseenter und mouseleave, weil mouseover und mouseout im IE die Eventfunktion beim Überfahren mit der Maus mehr als nur einmal auslösen. Folgende Weiche wäre möglich um eine Mouseover - Funktion zu realisieren:
